INTERNATIONAL GIRL CHILD DAY
The International Day of the Girl Child is observed annually on 11th October which aims at promoting gender equality, highlighting the challenges faced by girls. On this significant day, the FAsCE Supplementary Education Centre organized a street play at Geetamandir, with a focus on the theme "Invest in Girls' Rights: Our Leadership, Our Well-Being." The play emphasized the importance of treating girls and boys equally and providing them with equal opportunities to pursue their dreams. It also highlighted the significance of family and community support in fostering girls' leadership potential. The play served as a powerful reminder of the potential of every girl child in leadership and the overall well-being of society. Simultaneously, a short movie 'Pratibha' was screened at Mermier Hall for the children. The movie was based on the importance of treating girl child equally. There was sharing and interaction at the end of the screening.
