Bloom Fest: Summer Camp 2023
For the year 2023, Bloom Fest Summer Camp was held from July 11 to 16, 2023. The summer camp was officially inaugurated by Miss Chaya Kalita, Programme Coordinator in the presence of resource persons, staff and children. The children participated in singing, dance and skits based on their interest. The juniors were taught clay art, action song, paper art and bracelet making. Miss Priyanka Roy, Yoga Instructor, conducted yoga session throughout the 5 days camp. Drama class was conducted for 4 days by Mr Luit Boruah, Assistant Professor, Dr. Anita Baruah College of Education. Some of the senior girls practiced dances from bollywood numbers choreographed by Miss Sagarika Sharma, Freelancer. Another group of students participated in classical vocal training conducted by Ms Dimpi Sharma, Vocal Trainer.

On the 5th day, a concluding program was held to showcase the activities completed by the children during the last 4 days. The artworks included photo frame, dream catcher, christmas tree, clay art, colouring, collage making, thumb printing and drawing. The children performed dances, songs, skits and yoga to demonstrate their talents. The occasion was graced by Fr Sabu Francis, Provincial, MSFS as Chief Guest. The Chief Guest in his speech appreciated the efforts of FAsCE India in empowering and promoting the rights of a child.Mr.Ranjan Kumar Borah, Sr. Manager and State Lead, Save the Childrenwas present as a Guest of Honour. He praised the talents of the children and invited FAsCE India for collaborative activities. The program concluded with a vote of thanks and light refreshments was served for all. Similar program was also held in Bongaon, Gobardhan, Ekrabari, and Chapar.
